Registration is still open for the 2012 Cal South National Cup and the 2012 Sports Authority State Cup. The deadline for registering for the Youngers brackets in the 2012 Cal South National Cup (U12-U13) and Sports Authority State Cup (U9-U13) is coming up on December 2, 2011.

BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (May 2, 2011) - Cal South and the Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit are proud to host a free goalkeeping clinic by Fernando Piña Rivera, goalkeeping coach for the Mexican Youth National Teams. As a former goalkeeper with Monarcas Morelia, Fernando Piña Rivera has 20 years of professional goalkeeping experience and 5 years as a goalkeeping coach. The Goalkeeping Clinic will be taking place at the Mendez Learning Center Soccer Field on Wednesday, May 4 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

There was plenty of firsts during the Fall 2010 season. The introduction of the academies brought new opportunities to the Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit. Meanwhile, new teams joined the circuit to try their luck in an exciting and competitive league, while plenty of new venues became available throughout Los Angeles. These changes, along with others, made for a memorable season in the Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit.

Whether it was a coach or a player, individual awards do not only reflect the success of an individual, but also of the club.
